Multicare Electronics repairs ATEX-rated explosion-proof cameras and enclosures for use in hazardous area environments including oil & gas, chemical, and mining installations.

Repair documentation to support compliance records for hazardous area equipment.
The Pelco ExSite range is a family of explosion-proof positioning cameras and enclosures designed for use in hazardous areas where flammable gases, vapours, or dust may be present — such as oil & gas platforms, refineries, chemical plants, and mining operations. These units are certified to strict ATEX and IECEx standards, and any repair work must preserve that certification to keep the equipment safe and legally compliant for use in explosive atmospheres.
Because of this, ExSite and other Ex-rated cameras cannot be repaired by a general electronics workshop. The repair process itself is governed by IECEx / EN 60079-19, the international standard covering the repair, overhaul, and reclamation of equipment used in explosive atmospheres.
IECEx 60079-19 Certified
Maintained continuously since 2019
To carry out repairs on ExSite and other explosion-proof cameras, Multicare Electronics undertook the rigorous assessment and certification required under IECEx 60079-19. This covers our facilities, procedures, tooling, and the competency of our engineers to repair equipment without compromising its explosion-protection integrity.
We first achieved this certification in 2019 and have maintained it continuously ever since through ongoing audits and reassessment. This means every ExSite and ATEX repair we complete is documented and carried out to the standards demanded for hazardous-area equipment, giving you full confidence in the compliance and safety of your repaired cameras.
On completion, we provide the repair documentation needed to support your own compliance and inspection records for hazardous-area equipment.
